The member only print will be numbered out of how ever many members he gets.
all other prints are numbered out of 550 usually with some difference.
he doesn't do a different run for subscribers.

Your post implies that you know that Dan is increasing the run to 1000. Is this the case or are you just speculating?
Absolutely not!!! Sorry for any confusion I may have caused with that post, I can see how that happened. I simply saw that this print was one of his scheduled monthly releases and that in here (EB) the edition was listed as 1,000. I have not contacted Dan to ask about the matter and was just a little surprised to see that this was going to be a run of 1,000. I can only presume that whomever edited the release information info has it as fact.
I just removed the 1,000 from the details until we can get a confirmation. i don't know where that came from either.

I would think that it is the number of subs + maybe a handful in the numbered run and then Dan's usual APs of about 10 percent of whatever the run.
Just a guess
That would be incredibly boring to have to package up all those prints. No wonder some come with a little edge wear.
Maybe I am just lucky but I have never received anything damaged from Dan. Did you email him about it. He has VERY good customer service and replies hella quick.

I've never actually got a print from Dan before (my first should be coming soon). I was just saying in general, like from Methane or whoever. Handling that many prints you would just think that some sort of accident in handling is bound to occur.

Yes that is cool. So on a typical day you see your GID prints maybe 30 minutes? I think that would be on the high side.
That said I still LOVE THEM. I have The day everything become nothing by Dan and it is one of the top prints I own.

Has anyone got their The Fall poster from Dan yet? Mine just arrived today and it was sort of water damaged. Just one side of the poster felt like it had been wet at some point and still felt soft. Everything was dry, but it had definitely been wet at some point. The tube looked fine too other than the word crush in his "do not crush" sticker was all smudged out like it had been wet. So the poster has some roll bends in it now and 2 small creases in the border. The image itself looks fine I believe, but it's still pretty disappointing to get a poster like this. Like I said, it must have happened well before I got it because the tube and the kraft paper were dry at this point. Little scary feeling a poster that feels soft like that, definitely not the stiff paper feel I'm used to. The poster is flattening now. Hopefully it's not totally ruined.
