I know this is the DMBc area, but I wanted a place where I could discuss one of the greatest bands to walk this planet. Rob and Chris, I hope you two will be up for some deep conversations, and hopefully everyone else will be as well.

To start out this discussion:
I am HOOKED on the Providence Bowie. These 35 minutes are pure bliss. From the loop pedal jam (with maybe a bit of Dave's Energy Guide?!?) to the Lassie whispers. Simple amazing.

Here is the Providence Bowie: http://www.sendspace.com/file/d7kaza

i agree with him on this...a simply epic bowie.

note: no lsd when listening to this one. the "lassie" sequence will be a bit much.

show of the day:

4/16/92: anaconda theater.

quite simply, this is my favorite phish show of all time. for me, 92-94 are tough to beat. this show is absolutley absurd. many of the tunes are still being shaped and molded, so the jamming is brilliant.

I HIGHLY RECCOMEND GETTING THIS SHOW.

Do you have a link to the 92 Anaconda show?

The 94 Sugarbush was released as Live Phish 02. One of my favorite releases ever. I absolutely love the Hood from that show. The "Divided Sky" and "You can feel good about Hood" interpolations by Trey in the later parts of the solo get me every time.

sadly, i do not. the only computer i have is at work...i'm still in the stone age of cds. if you give me some time, i'd be happy to mail you a copy though. well worth it.

and yeah, i just realized that that sugarbush show was an official release...oh well, it's still amazing.
