I like the Green design of CVille the best...but the idea behind wrigley the best with the older looking colors and matching the team. And a lower edition.

So do you think they will have them in Vegas?

Has anyone actually bought these to USE or to have as another thing to hang on the wall?

I like this thread. I toy around on the guitar and when I first saw they were selling these (for $100 no less) I was intrigued. I think now if/when I get one, it will probably just sit in a mylar sleeve....which is a little depressing. I think I like the MSG one the best.

I kind of want one for D&T Seattle (with a really small run) so I can have them side by side. Right now the wall looks bare with just a single guitar strap hanging out :lol

I had the wrigley strap but traded for the msg cause I like the colors more. I like the colors more cause they go with my guitar. Think it's a cool thing to have on my guitar and definitely planning to take off the tags and use it!

I think that if any of the remaining shows have the guitar strap it would probably be Vegas. I don't think Seattle will have any because the shows are for charity and D&T in Colorado is only one night. (Hopefully I'm wrong for a couple peoples sake)

As it is with posters -- if your ISO is rare/expensive, you might settle for a slightly less mint one if that "defect" puts it within your desired price range. I did this for my Gorge bus and Denver 06 posters, and they look great framed. The tag could possibly be straightened out, I'm not sure.

i can see the straps continuing at select venues in the future, but i doubt they will gain more popularity than they have now...too many people will see the wrigley/MSG/cville ones on eBay and think they can profit off of them (think like with posters after the big 2008 season w/some monster ones...09 and 10 values dropped because too many ordinary fans tried to flip), many straps will end up on eBay after shows and ultimately they will not be as rare as these initial 3

MSG is my favorite pattern followed by C'ville with Wrigley last. The outside edges of the MSG strap seem a little more prone to bending and snagging compared to the other 2 though, and I think the MSG strap is going to have more issues than the other two in regards to wear and tear. I also like the fact that Wrigley had a smaller run...

I think a shadowbox would be awesome with all of them. The straps may take away from the poster.

Yeah, but sometimes it's acually cheaper to frame 2 posters together sometimes- depending on the frame selection....And since Wrigley and MSG both have 1 poster landscape and the other portrait style, the stap could probably go underneath the landscape poster in each frame. I have a huge wall I want to cover in a staircase @ my house, so these big frames might work well there....

If more straps are made, I think I would lean towards a cool shadow box for them....

I make felted purses/bags and would knit up a purse with a similar color scheme and design, felt it and then use the guitar strap as the strap for the purse/bag. I think it would be pretty badass using it and have a few different purse/bag patterns that would look fantastic. Lets get on this...I got some ideas brewing:think

I plan on waiting to see what happens by the end of the year to see if anymore straps are sold. I'm gonna then have my friend who works at a custom cabinet place make a "strap" hanger, kinda like a coat rack. I'll purchase some large cirlce clasps and hang them vertical. Just my thoughts.

Not that they were guitar straps, but I thought I'd crosspost this here.

One of the ladies working merch in VIP N2 said she worked for Souldier specifically. I asked her about the camera straps (how they aren't numbered or anything, and they don't have the commemorative "patch" with show details like the guitar straps do), and she said Souldier was testing whether they would be a popular item. She told me they were limited to 100, and that they didn't have commemorative patches because they were rushed into production for the Vegas shows. This iimplies that there will be further DMB camera straps (most likely, they seemed to be selling well), and that future ones will have the show details patches like the guitar straps.
