Zeppelin Tour (http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003676224)
If everyone donates at least $20 to me, I should be able to get a ticket. Just PM me and I'll give you my paypal address.
Don't think that $20 is all you can spend. Feel free to donate as much as you can, as this is a very good and very important charity. It's dear to my heart.
Do it for the children ... the children.

If it came down to it, I would NEVER go to another DMB show or another Alabama football game again if I could go to just one Zeppelin concert. I'd get a santa hat and a bell in a heartbeat if I knew it would get me tickets :lol

I care not to see Plant/Krauss.
Saw Plant/Krauss in Boston on 6/5, and was very pleasantly surprised. However, RP did go off stage for about 30 minutes in the middle of the show which was SUPER weak.
Overall, it was $50 well spent, though.

I'm guessing it will be a bunch of opening acts, varying based on location. I read on another board that's it's going to be a June-December world tour, and S. Fairey is being contacted to commission tour posters, which will break the banks even more.
Is it next summer already??

Led Zeppelin: "We Will Tour and Record Without Robert Plant"
Guitarist Jimmy Page's manager says the legendary band will replace Plant.
After months of confirmations, denials, counter-denials, and, uh, Twisted Sister Dee Snider's thoughts, the manager of Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has confirmed that the rock titans plan to reform for a new tour and album sans singer Robert Plant.
Peter Mensch spoke to the BBC about the remaining members' plans: "They did the show with Robert Plant; they had a really good time rehearsing, the three of them, before Robert showed up. And they decided that if they could find a singer that they thought would fit their bill…that they'd make a record and go on tour. We just need to find a singer."
However, Mensch remained mum on the potential candidates for the position, which have been rumored to include Soundgarden's Chris Cornell and Myles Kennedy of God-rock Creed-castoffs Alter Bridge. But he assured fans of one thing: "It's gonna be a long and difficult process. And we're not soliciting people! So don't call me about it!"

This is terrible news.
Here was my 2009 prediction, LZ related.
I am predicting that after all the BS is over, Plant will come back and Led Zep will do a world tour, lasting just under two full years and sales will exceed 1 billion dollars, every show sells out everywhere.
Axl Rose realizes what he is missing, all ties with the GNR are mended, and Slash, Axl and Duff are back tearing it up, debuting around Halloween.
2009 is going to be the biggest year ever for concerts and major tours, led by LZ, GNR, Dr. Dre, Eminem, etc.
You heard it here first!

Exactly.
There won't be any "new" Led Zeppelin, though. They'll just tour with some shlub until Plant feels like coming out to play again. He's occupied with other stuff right now, he's happy doing so and I respect that. I doubt there are any hard feelings there, but they can't just expect him to drop everything and come running.
