I always tell myself I'm going to. Then I never do.

Would be a hell of a lot of fun. The pics that people have posted look great.

Great chance for us dmd and poster freaks to get into lots of fun in/around Seattle over Labor Day weekend with Bumpershoot/Flatstock at the Center and dave and the boys playing three shows at the Gorge...

Anyone else going to spend way too much money and way too much fun?

Oh yeah, not about to break the tradition now.

Dont know much about going back and forth between Seattle and the Gorge though. That has wrecked me in the past.

No doubt...but now that the Gorge is a "vacation" trip instead of my home venue I'm going to try and squeeze in all the NW events I can get...I'll take a look at the Flatstock participants and see if it's worth the 6 hours round trip back and forth from the Gorge.

No badge is needed. Not sure if their is a charge to get in though. They also hold a BBQ one of those days as well.

I know last year it wasn't. However, the guitar and record convention is going on at the same time, so you might need one this year. Your best bet is to email API (American Poster Institute) and see what they say. They have memberships ($40 per person), and they might allow you to buy special admission just for Flatstock through that. I know for Bumpershoot they had 50% off tickets. So I would think they would try to hook up their members with at least the option to get into Flatstock 24 without being forced to buy a badge.

Most definitely, but at least you get to see what you are buying instead of judging by a computer screen. Oh, and you know they will be dead mint... :blush

Their is a lot of pluses. They will bust out "sell outs", APs, scratch and dents, exclusives, debuts, test and mono prints etc. etc. Its poster heaven.

yeah, it sounds like a good way to get me kicked out of my house ;) if I went to this. I'm sure the other half wouldn't be pleased.
