Very good. Better than the first i believe. And Heath Ledger's Joker is unbelievable. maybe oscar worthy.

Saw this last night, not sure any of it was Oscar Worthy but it was definitely a more cerebral version of "comic book movie." Heath Ledger is very unnerving, he does an amazing job.
Long though, and a lot of plot jammed into it, and I got in trouble because I think the "batman voice" Christian Bale does is so silly and I was laughing out loud when he raspily asked for a moment alone with the crime scene.

I think Ledger will be nominated for an Oscar--the little tics and mannerisms he had as Joker were unbelievable--but he won't win.

It's a shame he died, though. With this role, he would've been shot to super-stardom. Like $15mil a picture super-stardom. But he'll be remembered well, since he died at the very peak of his career.

I thought it was really good. Not the best movie of all time or anything like that, but I'd still probably rate it 8 or 9/10. Heath was awesome as the Joker, and the bat-voice was annoying as hell. Gary Oldman is the man too.

Finally getting off my lazy ass and going to see this movie tonight...can't wait to see it after all the positive reviews its gotten. I'm not a big movie goer so I'm making an acception for this one!! I usually spend all my money on posters and have nothing left for movie tickets. :cry

That movie was off the hook!!! I didn't think they could top Batman Begins, but they might have done it with the Dark Night. Absolutely amazing performance by Heath Ledger...he raised the bar for anyone else who ever has to play a villain in a movie. The scene where he made the "pencil disappear" was rediculous!! A++++

Magic is so much fun....lol. Agreed, I was able to see it in IMAX in Hampton, Va a few weeks ago (after seeing it in the theater opening weekend), which was awesome! Needless to say, I'll be adding this to my dvd collection once it comes out.
