For example, Ted Leo and his band were supposed to open for Pearl Jam in 2009. however he wasn't allowed into Toronto and we got a solo Eddie Vedder set to make-up for it and members of Pearl Jam played with the opening band.

i really want to make a trip up to spac! I've never been and it seems like a way nicer merriweather. Id use my friends warehouse to try and get tickets. I wouldn't go unless i had at least n2 (if it were a 2 night stand) in actual seats. I really don't wanna do lawn. and I'm gonna buy tickets to see red hot chili peppers in presale tomorrow at the verizon center (dc). I hope i get nice seats. fuuuuuccckkk... I don't know if Stacey and I want to to RR or Gorge!!! Either venue would be a first for me, but I'm leaning towards the Gorge since it's almost certain to be Labor Day weekend - BUT, she's been to the Gorge before and not RR :hysterical

Plus, it would be worlds easier to get tickets - decent tickets, at that - to Gorge, especially if they do GA again this summer (which I hope they do!)

yea i know i moved out here looking to be a golf pro, made that happen, didnt like it now im in an office gig. if i were still in NY i would never have the funds to make it to red rocks so the fact that its so close and i can use a port-key is freaking awesome!
