i'm a VERY BIG FAN of that piece. actually, in my above post that's the one i was talking about - how i loved it! i think that if that is framed it probably looks stunning! anybody have one? can they attest to it? i think the snow mixed with the blue probably gives off a cool effect!

Honestly that Toru Okada pops a hell of a lot better on screen than it does it real life. I had every intention of framing it, but it's REALLY dark in person.

Yeah it's black paper (obviously) and I don't think the greens, etc are backed by white, so they really don't show that well unless you're close. Granted it's been a long time since I've seen it in person, but I fell in love with it on screen and ultimately sold it if that means anything.

Ya i love it on screen. I have an offer in for one that has doodled in the description..no idea what that means, any ideas. Ill try to find a big picture of it and make it my wallpaper on my imac if it doesnt work out. then i wont need to buy it

if you could get a Toru for cheaper - i would. To me the doodling does not make it worth more. The print is hard to come by, as with much of DD more popular stuff. Normally, DD does not have high print runs on his work. If you have ever seen an EMEK, i think he doodles everything he signs. i don't know how he has the time.....hahahha

I made a final offer and he is waiting until the end of the weekend to see if any more offers come in. If i get this it is going straight to the framer along with my it felt good to be lost 2 mccarthy. The mccarthy isnt going to be cheap to frame.
