I've been trying to tell friends, family, coworkers, anyone who will listen since the days before the draft that the kid is the truth.

He'll be a workhorse with moves and will get 5-6yds/carry and 30 touches a game.

Bank on it.

The "Can Not be Cut" list is bullshit. I understand why towards playoff time so an entire roster can't be dumped... but it's only week 3. :loco

You guys want to see some really, really bad football?

Tonight, CBS is covering a Div II football game between in-peninsula rivals: the Huskies (Wankers) of Michigan Technological University and YOUR Northern Michigan University Wildcats!

The game is being played at 8:00 pm at the Superior Dome, the world's largest free-standing wooden structure: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superior_Dome

The dome is about a 1/4 mile from my place, and football games generally draw less than a thousand or two. Ok, way less than that. I bet tonight the place will be packed since it'll be televised.

But seriously. Wanna see some some really shitty football? Tune in. Then again, I bet the Wildcats could take the NFL Lions. :rolleyes

I think I prefer to call it the Yooper Dome.... much cooler sounding!

EDIT: Wait, I take it back.... the Con-dome lol now thats hilarious

dude, *I* saw the worst football game this weekend. NFL at least.... Rams vs Giants last weekend.. Told my husband that my HS football team could've kicked the Rams asses....

BUT, then we came home and watched the Steelers take on the Browns, so that made up for the bad foootball....

Ouch.

Not as bad as the 6-3 Steelers-Dolphins game from last year. At least I think the the score was something like that.

Yeah, if we would have actually paid for those tix, I would have been FURIOUS!

We're a big steelers family, actually did the Pittsburgh thing for my husbands b-day last year. Got bent over for tickets, but we were on the 15 yard line in like the 20th row to watch them win against the Browns. Freaking classic game!

Are you from Pittsburgh? I absolutely LOVE it there! Bill and I were just talking about craving some Primanti Bro's and Iron City beer last night.
