Tickets for the Seattle show go one sale Monday.
MrSteffie & I immediately wanted to go. But now that we think about it...it's the Rolling Stones. Not that into them.
Would you pay for a show with DMB as the opening act, or "support group" for the Stones?

I would and I have back in 1997. My friend and I bought tickets to see DMB and the Stones. It was "supposed" to be first DMB show, but being young, stupid and in high school, my friend and I decided to take psychodelic drugs beore we left for the show and never found the Orange Bowl in Miami. Yes, that's right, could not "see" the massive staduim in the middle of Miami. We missed the whole thing. Go for it Stephie. I've seen the Stones on a different occasion and it was worth it. They are great entertainers.

Even if you don't love the stones, you will probably like the show. I went last summer and I don't like much stones music but it was still a hell of a show to go see.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Think I'm gonna go for it. Prices range from 60-350

I'd get the cheapest.
The Stones themselves aren't worth the money. They are too old. If I want to see Mick Jagger seizure on a 100 yard ramp, I'll buy some cheap grandma porno...:shock
But seriously. The Stones have seen their day. Just go in thinking you are buying the ticket solely for DMB. Is it worth it now?

I got my ticket during the Seahawks Season Ticket Holder presale ;)
Only time I've seen the Stones was at the Super Bowl, and that doesn't really count. I hope DMB plays 1+ hour rather than under an hour - it would be worth it then.

They go on sale shortly. Maybe even right now. Not so sure it's worth it.

Since they're opening for the Stones, chances are the majority of people are there to see the stones, and thus you can probably get up pretty close without having a ticket for those seats because most people haven't settled in yet. I mean, I'm sure the fact that it's DMB will mean that more people watch the opening act, but I doubt a huge amount of the middle aged people paying hundreds of dollars for great stones seats are also big DMB fans.
Oh, and hello Steph

I'm old enough to have developed a taste for the Stones back in the day. I saw them in Hawaii in 1998 and it was a great show. Having DMB as the opener would make for a great show. I'm really wondering what the older folks in the croud will think of DMB music.....

I've never been a huge Stones fan. I mean a few songs here and there... but I saw them last year and was completely blown away.

Even if you're not a fan they really do put on a kick ass show. If someone goes to the show just for DMB and leave before RS play, they are making a big mistake.....

No.
#1 I don't really care all the much for the Rolling Stones, at least not yet.
#2 DMB's sets probably won't be that interesting. Think 7.24.99 (Woodstock) with some Stand-Up throw in.
