I thought this was interesting. My grandmother, who was the biggest single influence in my life, passed away on January 9th, 2002. Last year, while going through some of her belongings, my mother found this.
I have absolutely no recollection of this; never knew it existed. I'm gonna date myself here, but the best I can figure is that my grandmother had this commissioned at the Saginaw County Fair in either 1984 or 1985. My mom gave it to me this past February. It was rolled up in a newspaper plastic bag. I imagine it was originally on white stock, but has yellowed over the years. It has also "wrinkled" a bit.
I took it to my framers and this is what we came up with. Sorry for the crappy photo.
