First up, for all the Penguins fans out there...
This is a print from The Espy Collection commissioned in 2002 by ESPN - each print of the series is numbered out of 25 and has both the athlete and photographer's signature.

I would recognize that signature anywhere. My jersey is signed. That is pretty sweet. Jealous!

No, I bought it from a guy who won it through a charity auction. ESPN still has a few of these left. I checked a couple of years ago - the Lemieux print was $2500 and the Ali print was $10,000.

Josh Keyes - Thunder

This one is a monster at 42" x 33" and over 25 lbs framed up. My framer wanted it to keep an aquarium feel, so it is mounted between glass with a mat and spacers, gave it a very cool look. I'm deciding if I want the green or yellow wall behind it (both colors are in the print).

Thanks! I did them myself with AmericanFrame! It's hard to tell in the pics but the frame is black wood with red kind of rubbed through the black here and there on the outside edge and a silver part on the inside edge. I hope they still have the frame actually - I finally tracked down a cheap Dusseldorf so that'll 'complete' the red Klausen wall when you first walk into my house. I REALLY want to paint that wall red but that might be over the top.

Today I went to Sam Flax and bought one of the non-custom frames for $50, then the nice girl working there got me black acid-free museum board, created custom spacers and floated the print for me all for $30 (the museum board was $21 itself). So the picture below is what I got for $80. I think when I get the Vintage Lennon in the mail (also below) I will put them next to each other on the wall. I know the Einstein just looks okay, but for $80 it exceeds my expectations.

Well, if it ever pops up again I plan on buying at least 1 more. I love the image and the message....and for $50 you can't beat it. There was/is a numbering issue because they changed the run after numbering it, but from what I'm told that is an issue on all of them so it doesn't bother me. I was excited because I thought I had worked out a deal with whoever responds to the MBW emails for a signed and thumbprinted one since mine was damaged, but apparently there was a misunderstanding. Long story short, i definitely recommend it.

Hmmm...I saw one that was double matted using about an 1/8th of an inch of one of the background tree colors (maybe that greyish green or one of the blues) with the top mat being black. You probably couldn;t go wrong with a black frame either. But thats a tough one. If you trust your framer, see what he or she thinks. Can't wait to see it.

Ya i am going to try and bring it to him today. I am moving to San Diego on the eighth so it is getting close to the deadline of two weeks. Might have to wait until i get down there. There is a Sunny days on EB in the pictures that has a brown frame that looks really good. But I think i might go with a really wide thick gallery frame for this with the expensive museum glass

Looks great man! You had to make a tough decision and I think you went the right way with it. By that I mean, when I see the uncut version, I wonder if the framing should highlight that it is uncut (essentially frame and mat so that you can see the entire sheet). The ones that are on EB that do this usually have a little doodle, so it makes sense to show it. I think with yours that framing it to highlight the beautiful image (and not the fact that its uncut) was the right way to go. I'm very jealous that you get to hang that! Nice job!

I ordered everything from american frame then took it to michaels to have them assemble it. Only $10 for archival mounting and assembly. I wasnt impressed with their mounting materials or the acrylic museum sheet. So eventually i will get real glass and probably add another mat to the bottom. I ordered everything for the toru okada and it was wrong measurements. Luckily this fit and turned out great. Thanks for the compliments dmtr i would love to see what you do when you get one. This is one of my favorites, it is from 1981, signed and numbered out of 950 by Frank Morton, it is hard to get alot of info on this one but his other ones from the Beach Boys all sell for around $4,500. I had this framed at a local framing shop, they did a great job I think. I wanted the image to be the focus so went with very plain, but fully archival matting and glass. If anyone knows alot , or anything about the artist Frank Morton or this print, fill me in. Thanks.

How much did that cost?
I just framed my Inglourious Basterds poster too. The poster was large enough as it is, so I didn't use any mats. It will go in my home theatre room, so I wanted to keep the frame job clean. American Frame, UV, anti-glare acrylic. Shipping cost $25 extra because it's so big. I also used some spacers between the acrylic and the poster. Cost from American Frame was like $145 (after shipping).

My Dusk Hollow print that thanks to McGinnis I bought, now it is framed too. Challenging print to frame due to the size. Local frame shop wanted over $800 to do it. Had to buy the mattes from the local frame shop because American Frame wouldn't cut them due to the size. Everything else was purchased through American Frame. Total cost: $197.00. Thank God for American Frame.com

Just finished this at a matting & framing class as completion of wife's B-Day present from October. Black frame, gold bead rabbet, two acid free mats (brown faux leather over black green core), all backed by acid free foam core, and covered with UV glass.

Thanks ... I also liked the way the gold colored beads on the rabbet bring out the signature/numbers and match the dragonfly's eyes ... sort of.

She likes the image. Its from the Methane print "Runaway Girl with Cat":

Thanks for the kind words on the framing. I don't think I will be selling the Runaway Girl with Cat art print, it took me a long time to track down that version. I thought I was going to have to settle for the poster version before I finally located it.

I did the above 1st love print with a pink metallic frame and it turned out awesome. I will post photos later. No mat, the white border is huge. I went through about 20 sample frames before I landed on the pink metallic. I tried wood, classic, museum, a bunch of others and after all that an inexpensive pink metallic was just "the one". It just looks good with the pink hearts and the silver metallic ink.

There is some visible flaws to that frame, but the frame shop was able to order us a touch up marker that will match the frame, so in a few weeks they will hopefully be a little less visible.
