View Full Version : Songs YOU want to hear @ C'ville.....
Bartender
Sep 17, 2006, 02:50 PM
I have a feeling that the band may reach a bit deeper into the archives and pull out a couple of good ones for the last two shows. I would really like to hear Last stop (I think this will open night two), Bartender (duh) and would kill to hear Spoon for the first time. What You Are, The Stone, and I Did It make the short list also.
I know Bartender is played a lot but I've only seen it two times and it is my favorite band tune.
What say you?

Smooth Rider is my favorite live song. I would also like to see JTR again, as well as Last Stop and Watchtower. Nancies, anything from BTCS, ABI...nothing out of the ordinary.
I do know that I absolutely hate WWYS and hope to never see it again.

In all seriousness, we're gonna hear Last Stop, date and placement to be determined by the band. I will say this though, if some sumbitch beside me tries to start a 'Last Stop' chant I'll punch him right in the face. I hate those god damn chants.....
"Two Step! Two Step!" In my mind I'm thinking suck my "left nut! left nut!".....

i don't want to hear anything in particular. i've had a really good run of shows this year. #41 with bela & friends. Ants with Bela and friends. Last Stop in Alpine. typical. Can't Stop first ever. STDH.
I'm already really satisfied with the band and my shows this year so I'm just going to have a good time.

dear dmb:
Please open N1 w/ two step. it will accomplish two things. 1) what a fucking rockin' way to start off a much anticipated weekend. a nice 15 minute opener would have everyone on their feet for the rest of the night. 2) this would kill any stupid chants from the crowd for the rest of the weekend.

other than dream girl, this was one of the best beginnings ever. the energy was SOOOOO high! and it was FANTASTIC not to hear the two step chant.

They opened Alpine 04 with Hello Again. It's not likely, but it was great. I'd like to hear it anywhere in the set, really.
i wouldn't say it's unlikely. they've played it where it was an obvious choice a few times. didn't it open stl this year? and it opened roseland.

i have a dream to hear the following:
during hello again, when carter has his solo, i'd love Love LOVE to see him break into halloween. i know it'd never happen, especially at a show i'd be at, but i still think it'd be money.

I should have used the past-tense. DMB is too structured to do something like that.
