Dave to be in a new movie...

Sissy Spacek, Dave Matthews, and Troy Garity have signed on to star in the family drama, Lake City for Perry Moore and Hunter Hill.

The Hollywood Reporter says Spacek and Garity will play a mother and son who have been estranged after a tragedy, but reunite under dire circumstances in order to save their home; Matthews will play the villain. Hill and Moore co-wrote the script and will also co-direct the flick., who co-wrote and is co-directing the project with Moore.

Filming on Lake City starts Monday in Virginia; no release date has been scheduled.

I think I'll hold out my opinion of this movie until I see/hear more about it, but I'm definitely stoked about seeing another movie with Dave in it. I remember all the people saying how great Winn Dixie's going to be because Dave's in it. :lol Thank god I kept my mouth shut!

When Dave was on Jay Leno last time...he stood up, mid interview and grabbed his package infront of everyone..havent you seen the pic?........Then stated that it was a bet he had with someone, and if he did it, the dude was gonna make his movie.....or something along those lines.

what was wrong with winn dixie? i loved that movie!

can't wait to see Lake City! dave as a villian, i'm not sure if i'll buy it, but it'll be interesting :)
