I don't know if any of you read it on Ants or not, but I flew out on Saturday, and while I was over the Sierra Nevadas, I realized I forgot my tickets at home. Oops. I wasn't freaking out, but I was at the same time. I really wanted to go, but I wanted to go mostly for my pops. He had never been to a DMB show, and I wanted to introduce him to them... Well... long story short, I got a hold of someone at Smirnoff and explained my situation, and they told me to come on down and they'd reprint the tickets if they haven't been used yet. Good news!! It was a great show. My pops loved it. I wish I could have met up with some of you guys, but... at the same time, it would have been a little awkward at this venue with my pops and all. It's not that he's older... he'd just be commenting on all the girls and stuff... it's just awkward. We were in line getting margaritas and there was a chick in a hippie dress and cowboy boots, and my dad turned around and just started commenting... talking about her moves and her curves and just... everything. then he realized that there was another girl right next to him... so he decided to ask her opinion on the girl in the cowboy hat... It was funny, but awkward at the same time. So... I think the real reason I wouldn't want to introduce my pops to you guys is that... you'd probably like him more. ;)

Anyway... On the way home, he got sideswiped by some guy. The whole right side of his car is destroyed. We're all OK, but it was not a fun way to end the night.

Anyway... good show.
