Don't Laugh....but because of the brass / violin / guitar and vocal......I think that "Born To Run" by Bruce would be awesome.....Dave's vocals are perfect for the constant "yelling vocals." Obviously, DMB would not do any songs that derived later than their inception.....Anyone have any other opinions?

(When is the last time you heard "Born To Run?")

I've always thought Lola by The Kinks would be a good one

I saw that song a few times live.....last time was at MSG - somewhere around 1985 / 1986 ...I was in High School.....GREAT SONG!!! .....but....the song I think would have to inlcude all aspects of the band......brass / strings...etc....

Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town and Daughter by Pearl Jam. I see Dave really pulling off those songs.

Primus - Wynona's Big Brown Beaver :lmao

Let Fonz thump that bass and Carter thrash away

I think Dave could pull off Les' tone and twangy-ness in a cool funked out version.

"My Humps" just because it would be hilarious.
"Sabotage" because if Phish can cover it, why can't DMB.
"Spirit in the Sky" just on a count of.
"The Way You Look Tonight" also, just on a count of.
I've got tons more, but they also can be chalked up to "not going to happen, like, ever!"

Because Phish covered it. Why would DMB want to ruin a cover that someone else perfected? ;)
