I figured this would be of interest to some of you. *read this carefully*
We are pleased to announce an exciting new Warehouse contest! We are calling on all artistic Warehouse members to send us your creative ticket concepts. Submit your original ticket artwork and your entry just may be chosen as a winner and used to design the Warehouse ticket stock for the Dave Matthews Band 2007 summer tour!
We’ll review all submissions and select up to four (4) winners who will receive the following prizes!
* A pair of tickets to the show of their choice on the 2007 summer tour!
* A copy of their original artwork, matted, framed and autographed by Dave Matthews!
* The posting of their entry on the Warehouse website!
Requirements
WIDTH: 5.5" HEIGHT: 1.98"
PERFORATION: 2" from right edge of ticket front
BAR CODE AREA: Leave .4" wide x 1.98" high white space on right edge of ticket for bar code placement.

Design instructions:
* All bitmapped images should be 300dpi at 100%.
* No bleed is required.
* The ticket will print in 4 colors (CMYK). RGB files can not be printed.
* Designs must be made in Photoshop or Illustrator.
* Concert show information will be printed over artwork in black print. The artwork must be light enough to make sure the printed show information is legible. Light/Bright colors work best and increased contrast in detail areas prevents loss of detail when printed. Avoid all black or dark backgrounds. Note: Due to the paper the tickets are printed on, the artwork will print darker and with less contrast than how the artwork appears on a monitor or when proofing on a color printer.
* Photographs of persons or objects may only be used in the artwork if available in the public domain. Please include source details of any photograph or piece of art used that is the work of another artist.
Submission instructions:
* This contest is for Warehouse members. You must be a member as well as U.S. resident in order to submit a design.
* All designs must be emailed in PDF format to: contests@davematthewsband.com.
* The deadline for submissions is midnight Eastern Time on Sunday, February 25, 2007.
* Warehouse members are allowed to submit multiple designs but each design must be in its own PDF file, and only one PDF per email.
* At the top of each design you must include your name, email address, phone number, and membership ID.
